Marcie’s passion for massage therapy began at a very young age, as she found herself naturally helping family and friends through the power of touch. That early interest evolved into a rewarding career when she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, to attend the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where she completed the comprehensive 2,500-hour, two-year Massage Therapy program, graduating in April 1997.
With nearly three decades of experience, Marcie has built a diverse and accomplished career. She has owned and operated a successful mobile massage practice and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including spa environments, multidisciplinary chiropractic clinics, and a clinic specializing in prenatal and maternity massage.
From 2002 to 2012, Marcie also shared her knowledge and passion for the profession as an Instructor in the Massage Therapy Program at Mount Royal University, helping educate and mentor the next generation of massage therapists.
Marcie has a special interest in Remedial Massage Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage, with a focus on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function. Through Myofascial Release techniques, she effectively treats neck, shoulder, and pelvic dysfunctions, helping clients improve movement and return to their daily activities with greater comfort and confidence. She also provides Lymphatic Drainage treatments to support the body’s natural healing process, reduce swelling, and promote healthy circulation. Passionate about long-term wellness, Marcie empowers her clients through education by providing individualized home care recommendations, including stretching and hydrotherapy techniques, to help maintain lasting results.
