What is Thai Massage?
Thai massage or Thai yoga massage is a traditional therapy that combines acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. It is an excellent way to bring back the balance within your body.
Through the traditional works of Thai massage native to Thailand, this session focuses on specific techniques specially used in yoga, such as stretching, compressions, pulls and twists to essentially realign your mind, body and soul.
What can I expect from my session?
The session will consist of a full-body or focus area treatment tailored to each client. The client will be fully clothed in comfortable wear that allows stretching and flexibility. After a 60 minute session, a client should feel relaxed and well stretched out.
This 60 minute session is conducted on a massage table and uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. Your therapist will assess and apply the appropriate techniques to reduce tension, pain and improve flexibility and energy flow.
